Box Penalty Kill

Description

1) Players set up in a box formation 2) Not an aggressive setup and don't chase 3) Close defender can attack puck if it comes loose but avoid chasing when other team has possession 4) Sticks stay in passing lanes, not on the puck. Force perimeter shots 5) Box shifts as a unit toward the puck side, staying square 6) Net-front players box out and clear rebounds 7) Back two don't over commit behind the net 8) Only collapse/pressure when puck goes below the goal line or to a low half-wall with no easy pass out
